This module examines journalists’ obligation to treat individuals fairly by respecting their privacy and dignity, unless the public interest justifies an intrusion. It also emphasizes the prohibition against all forms of discrimination, specifying that personal characteristics should only be mentioned when they are relevant to the information being reported.
